We don't have seals but we do have a kayak

On my last website, I talked all about how much fun I had when I went to Florida. This time I want to talk about boating with my Dad.

Our boat is a kayak. Kayaks were invented by Eskimos about 4,000 years ago. We looked it up. Their kayaks were made out of sealskins and wood. Our kayak is made out of red plastic. We don't have seals around here. Even if we did, I would say let's get a plastic kayak.

We paddle our boat on Lake Nockamixon. It is a big lake close to our house. When we get there, we see lots of birds like herons, hawks, ducks and geese. We also see butterflies, dragonflies, blue bottles and other cool bugs. We see mosquitoes too, but we don't like them. The last time we went, we heard some big frogs, but didn't see them. We did see some turtles on a log though. And water lilly flowers. We also ate pastries.

I decided to talk about kayaking at Lake Nockamixon because I think you should go there. It is a lot of fun.
