Red

Red

Fall leaves, ripe apples, Clifford, a rose.
Hot cinnamon, spicy cider I smell with my nose.

Hot peppers on my tongue, salsa with spice.
The crackly sound of a fire sure is nice.

Smooth and hot on my hand, a fuzzy winter hat on my head.
All of these things make me think of red.

Hey Gabrielle! I love your "Red" poem! Fall is my favorite season, and I love all of the fall things that you mentioned that remind you of the color red!
I'm excited to hear about the books you have been reading! I, too, love Harry Potter, the Narnia books, and Charlotte's Web!
Have you ever heard of any books by Eward Eager? I know one of the books in his series was called, "Half Magic," and I really liked it! I used to get them at the public library all the time when I was younger!
I'm glad to hear that the praying mantis didn't catch you :o)
